to leave such documents in the custody of the

person to whom they are produced on receipt being

given therefor.

Every person who

(a) refuses or neglects to furnish any particulars

required by the Rating Authority in the exercise

of the powers conferred by section 10 of this

Proclamation; or

(b) knowingly makes any false or incorrect state-

ment in furnishing any such particulars; or

(c) refuses to exhibit when required by the Rating

Authority any receipt for rent, or any book or

other document relevant to any valuation; or (a) knowingly makes any false or incorrect state-

ment in any notice or application given or made

under section 18; or

(e) destroys or parts with, or mutilates, alters

or tampers with any document whatsoever material

to the purposes of this Proclamation or knowingly

produces any document so mutilated, altered or

tampered with; or

(f) wilfully resists, opposes, molests, hinders

or obstructs any person in the performance of his

duties under this Proclamation;

or

(g) wilfully conceals, removes, defaces, alters or

obliterates any boundary stone or the number

thereon or the number of any tenement; or

(h) without reasonable excuse refuses or neglects

to comply with the requirements of any

notification given under section 20 of this

Proclamation;

shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction

shall be liable to imprisonment for any term not

exceeding six months or to a fine not exceeding

five hundred dollars or to both such imprisonment

and fine.
